This Gallery is some original photography of Robert Ihrig.  Re-photographed in November of 2007 (by Terry Manzo) it shows the B&W photo sessions from Ihrig’s infamous studio.  Bob was a professional photographer, with a portrait studio and darkroom.  He photographed many of Stratford’s  great theatre and arts personalities in his studio- as well as painting them.  Much of his photography during this time period involves nudity with theatrical costumes and props and, although not yet a household word as it is today, Gay themes.  Most of Bob’s photo work is large format B&W which he printed himself at his studio.  Being the organized person he was, a large percentage of his photography is categorized, still in the original Ilford paper boxes with the technical notes, negatives and proofs.
